About Scott Diamond, D.O.
Dr. Scott Diamond is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. In addition to practicing general gastroenterology, he specializes in performing colonoscopies with polypectomy and Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) procedures.
In Dr. Diamond’s opinion, gastroenterology is the best field in medicine and appeals to him because it provides an opportunity to develop longitudinal relationships with patients, coupled with interventional and diagnostic procedures. In this field, he believes that physicians can provide services that can drastically improve someone’s quality of life and prevent serious disease.
Patients can expect a warm smile and an excited attitude as he is very passionate about his job and ensuring that his patients receive high quality care. He takes pride in doing his best to ensure a thorough workup, accurate diagnosis and provide the most up to date, evidence based treatments for his patients. Most importantly, he hopes to provide his patients comfort and confidence as their physician and advocate.
Dr. Diamond attended Nova Southeastern University - College of Osteopathic Medicine for his medical degree. After that, he attended the University of Louisville Hospital for his Medical Residency and Valley Hospital Medical Center for his Medical Fellowship.
Dr. Diamond loves music and plays bass, electric and acoustic guitar. He occasionally performs with a local band in Las Vegas. He enjoys traveling and is an avid sports fan. These two interests merged and he has been to a ballgame at almost every major league baseball stadium with his family.
