Dr. Richard Gilroy is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. Dr. Gilroy treats all manner of gastrointestinal disorders, but has special interest in hepatology and liver transplantation, short bowel syndrome and intestinal failure.

Dr. Gilroy believes himself fortunate to have entered into an area where he believes people have the opportunity to make a real difference in healthcare.

Dr. Gilroy is here to listen and learn from you and to collectively work to find a better place than when you came and if he cannot, find people who can help you. Better health is a journey.

Dr. Gilroy obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Queensland and completed his Medical Residency there as well. He then completed his Internal Medicine Fellowship and his Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at the University of Queensland Australia and the University of Nebraska.

In his free time, Dr. Gilroy enjoys cycling, sailboarding and most anything outside, and also playing chess.
