"I’ve been going to Utah Gastroenterology for decades. I’ve been through a few doctors- others moved out of State and I gained a new doctor. Every doctor I’ve met is top notch! Now I’m seeing Dr Christopher Maxwell. He’s a great listener, fast typer, and above all, great at determining the root cause of an issue. So, I’m sticking with him. I had a terrible Nissen Fundoplication, aka it’s where the surgeon wraps your stomach around your esophagus like a hot dog in a bun to control reflux from a hiatal hernia. I don’t think this procedure is done anymore but if you run into a gastroenterologist or surgeon who recommends it, RUN AWAY as fast you can. This procedure was NOT done by any Utah Gastroenterology Physician. I’m seeing them and receiving help from them for all the harm this procedure did to me. They’ve been a blessing to help me heal. Dr Maxwell represents the best medical care available. And, the doctors at Utah Gastroenterology are not shy to seek outside secondary opinions because I was sent to the UofU to see a lead gastroenterologist there and he agreed with the treatment plan at Utah Gastroenterology, medicine has got to learn how to shorten the Latin for us simple folks!"

"Excellent patient care. Dr. Moore answered all my questions and had a care plans. I like Dr. Moore he looks you in the eye when talking and speaks terms of understanding. Great office staff and great Doc."
"I found someone there that I really appreciated and felt great about. She is their new PA. I was just about ready to make a change due to being rushed through, not having options explained or addressed, people quitting and having to reschedule months out, etc. Kenzie took the time to explain, adjust treatment, and was extremely helpful. I plan to follow up with her in the future."
"Dr Fenton has been one of my health care providers for very many years, and I wouldn't have it any other way. He is a very knowledgeable, professional Dr, with a fantastic bedside manner. ."
"Dr Brien Miller is wonderful; he is compassionate, caring and efficient. I feel certain he sees me as a “whole” person and not just another procedure. His staff has been very caring as well. A special note of thanks to Jody. She always does her best to assist me with solutions to issues that arise. The procedures are not fun but I am assured I am in good capable hands. Diane Rosowsky"
"It has been several years since I came to this clinic with my granddaughter who had pancreatitis. As her doctor asked about family medical histories. As l helped my granddaughter explain all the aspects of that her doctor asked me how long since I had been followed for my liver disorder. When I told him he asked me to make an appointment with him. From that day l have been working with the clinic for all kinds of tests and my specific problem was discovered. l am grateful to the two doctors l've seen and the staff for their patient, caring treatment. l would never go anywhere else."
"Dr. Batista and his staff have always been kind and professional. The doctor spends time explaining and listening at every visit. Thank You Dr. Batista and staff!"
